About STDC
Soil Test Data was created by Alabama Department of Transportation's Computer Services Bureau. ALDOT's Materials and Test Bureau uses STDC as a replacement for a series of main frame components that collected and charted soil test results.

STDC handles input and reporting of trial data from multiple labs located throughout the state. Its primary purpose is to provide a means by which labs can collect and compare soil test results. By calculating and comparing statistical mean, results from multiple labs can be validated.
